Mini-Post: Moths and Glass

Look at this eight-spotted forester moth I caught sleepin' on our kitchen windowsill! It probably just hatched. The second yearly brood of forester moths emerges in August. It was evening when I took the picture, and it woke up and flew away not long later!

I love how the window looks like water here. Did you know glass is somewhat fluid? It just moves verrrry slowly. The Magick of Physics by Felix Flicker taught me that.
